{"id":2659,"date":"2026-06-29T14:29:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-29T12:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.indufed.be\/?post_type=event&#038;p=2659"},"modified":"2026-07-02T14:30:43","modified_gmt":"2026-07-02T12:30:43","slug":"board-general-assembly-of-indufed-member-cobelpa","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"http:\/\/www.indufed.be\/en\/event\/board-general-assembly-of-indufed-member-cobelpa\/","title":{"rendered":"Board &amp; General Assembly of inDUfed member Cobelpa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few days ago, Cobelpa \u2013 the federation representing the paper and pulp sector in Belgium, and a valued member of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/search\/results\/all\/?keywords=%23indufed&amp;origin=HASH_TAG_FROM_FEED\"><strong>inDUfed<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 organised its board and annual general assembly meetings in Virton, at Burgo Ardennes.<br>\u00a0<br>These meetings provided a valuable opportunity to take stock of the key challenges facing the sector, with insightful discussions focusing in particular on:<br>\u26a1 Energy: ensuring competitiveness in a context of necessary decarbonisation coupled with high and volatile energy costs<br>\ud83d\udc65 Social affairs: addressing legislative updates, workforce dynamics and securing skills for the future<br>\u00a0<br>These exchanges once again highlighted the importance of strong collaborations across the sector in supporting a resilient and innovative industry.<br>\u00a0<br>The day continued with a visit of Burgo Ardennes\u2019 mill, offering a concrete look at industrial excellence and the sector\u2019s continuous transformation and improvement. Special thanks go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/dominiqueponcelet\/\"><strong>Dominique Poncelet<\/strong><\/a> for organising the meetings and the informative site visit and to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/burgoardennes\/\"><strong>Burgo Ardennes<\/strong><\/a> for the warm welcome.<br>\u00a0<br>We also warmly welcome and thank <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/c%C3%A9dric-djeuteu-380a80ba\/\"><strong>Cedric Djeuteu<\/strong><\/a>, who has now joined the board of Cobelpa.
