This visit was an excellent opportunity to exchange on critical topics shaping the energy transition and the competitiveness of our industries:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Costs and timeframes for accessing the electricity grid<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Making smart choices about grid access<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Increasing low-carbon energy production capacity<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Energy costs<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the transition to succeed and to safeguard Belgium\u2019s <strong>strategic autonomy and economic resilience<\/strong>, collaboration is key. <strong>Regions, the federal government, ELIA, and industry must work hand in hand<\/strong> to ensure a reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 24 November, our federation had the pleasure of visiting Essity in Verviers to welcome Belgium\u2019s Federal Minister for Energy, Matthieu Bihet.
