Glass industry
The glass industry in Belgium is diverse, covering a wide range of applications such as fibreglass, window glass, mirrors, screens and windscreens.
Glass also plays a crucial role as an insulation material, with Belgium being renowned for its production of glass wool and cellular glass.
Last but not least, the Belgian industry excels in the production and recycling of container glass.
Paper & board industry
The paper & board industry includes companies that produce pulp, paper and cardboard products made from recycled and/or fresh cellulose fibres, such as graphic paper, packaging paper and hygiene paper.
These initial products can also be transformed. Resulting products include packaging ware for both non-food and food goods, corrugated cardboard boxes, displays, folding boxes and boxes for the luxury sector.
Belgium also produces games, cards, cigarette paper, self-adhesive materials, wallpaper and floor coverings.
